We are participating in a community project to get individual non-perishable food bags to be distributed to workers and anyone who is in need for the victims of Hurricane Laura. The project hopes to be completed this week, and are seeking monetary donations to purchase the food items for the bags, as well as volunteers to put the bags together. We hope that the assembling will take place this week.
If you can help with assembly, please let us know, and if you are able to make a monetary donation, please make the check payable to Rotary Club of St. Francisville, and note in them memo “Hurricane Relief”. You can drop off the check to Gwen Sellers at State Farm at 12208 Jackson Rd, or to Cheryl Franklin or Sheryl Johnson, at The Council on Aging at 12292 Jackson Rd.
